Job Description
A Facility Custodian keeps buildings, spaces and surrounding grounds clean, safe and orderly.
Core Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Cleaning and Sanitizing:&nbsp;Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; dust surfaces; clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, and high-touch areas.</li>
<li>Waste Management:&nbsp;Empty trash cans and recycling bins, and move waste to designated disposal areas.</li>
<li>Facility Upkeep:&nbsp;Restock restroom supplies, wash interior windows.</li>
<li>Event Support:&nbsp;Set up and arrange tables, chairs, and equipment for meetings or special events.</li>
<li>Inventory Control:&nbsp;Monitor and request custodial supplies and cleaning chemicals.&nbsp;</li>
</ul>
 
Key Requirements and Skills
 * Physical Stamina:&nbsp;Ability to stand or walk for long periods, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
<ul>
<li>Chemical Safety:&nbsp;Knowledge of safe chemical handling, mixing instructions, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).</li>
<li>Equipment Operation:&nbsp;Experience using commercial cleaning machinery like floor buffers, pressure washers, and industrial vacuums.</li>
<li>Independence:&nbsp;Strong time-management skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.</li>
