Job DescriptionOwn the Systems that Power Quality

Step into a hands-on Quality Systems role at our distribution center and plant, supporting the Quality Manager to keep products compliant, teams informed, and processes tight.

Core Responsibilities

  • Complaint Lifecycle: Enter, track, and receive internal and external complaints; facilitate resolution through root cause analysis.
  • Audits & Documentation: Conduct process audits; manage and control safety, training, and quality documentation.
  • Non-Conformance Control: Administer supplier defects and returns; coordinate sorting and rework.
  • Performance & Actions: Maintain weekly KPIs; ensure compliance with Corrective Action Reports (CAR); author and manage Preventive Action Reports (PAR).
  • Safety Leadership: Lead the DC Safety Committee; deliver 7‑minute safety training to all DC employees; complete safety and incident reports.
  • Data Integrity: Execute precise, timely data entry across quality systems.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • High school diploma/equivalent; related college coursework and/or associate degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of relevant experience; familiarity with LEAN, ISO, and Six Sigma preferred; OSHA or safety-related exposure is beneficial.

Math & Reasoning

  • Quick, accurate tape‑measure reading.
  • Compute percentages, measurements, volume, and rate; apply high school math concepts.
  • Resolve practical problems with limited standardization; interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions.

Physical & Environmental Conditions

  • Regular walking, talking, and hearing; frequent standing, manual dexterity, and reaching; occasional sitting.
  • Lift/move up to 50 lbs.
  • Vision: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
  • Frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes/airborne particles; loud noise environment.
