The Janitor Custodian will maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety throughout an industrial facility during the day shift. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role will ensure workspaces, restrooms, floors, and common areas remain clean, orderly, and well supplied.
Responsibilities
- Perform facility cleaning throughout the industrial site.
- Complete floor care activities to maintain clean and safe surfaces.
- Remove and properly manage waste.
- Sanitize restrooms and replenish restroom supplies.
- Restock cleaning and facility supplies as needed.
- Disinfect high-touch and commonly used surfaces.
- Respond promptly to spills and clean affected areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in custodial services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience with commercial cleaning and floor care.
- Knowledge of chemical handling and sanitation procedures.
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Reliable and consistent work habits.
