Join a dedicated environmental services team as a Night Cleaning Technician supporting acute care units, operating rooms, and surgical suites across the Tri-State Area. This full-time role works from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., Monday through Wednesday and Saturday and Sunday, with Thursday and Friday off. The position reports to a site supervisor, includes frequent out-of-state travel, and offers paid training, career advancement through a cleaning technician progression, travel support, and performance-based incentives.
Responsibilities
- Disinfect acute care units, operating rooms, and surgical suites.
- Clean and sanitize medical equipment and clinical environments.
- Follow infection control procedures and chemical dilution standards.
- Use personal protective equipment in accordance with safety requirements.
- Collaborate with the environmental services team and specialized cleaning crew.
- Travel frequently to local and out-of-state healthcare facilities.
- Report routine assignments and operational updates to the site supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in healthcare environmental services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of healthcare environmental services and infection control.
- Familiarity with disinfection procedures and medical equipment cleaning.
- Experience using personal protective equipment.
