Position: Security Operations Manager
\n
Location: Clevland, OH (This role would require the candidate to work onsite once a month so we would prefer local or nearby located candidates who can manage without having to travel)
\n
Duration: Long Term Contract
\n
Note : This role would require a balance of technical expertise in SOC operations, incidence response and operational experience and technical team leadership.
\n
\n
Job Description:
\n
• Provides direct supervision to a large team of operational, production, sales, service or administrative team members, or a small staff of professional-level team members.
\n
• Work is guided by operational and project objectives.
\n
• Sets and communicates clear expectations for work outcomes and manages performance.
\n
• Manages a staff of professional-level team members or manages a team through lower-level supervisors.
\n
• Works within general policies and management guidance, independently determining approach to managing daily operations.
\n
• Provides guidance and technical advice, becoming actively involved as necessary.
\n
• Develops, modifies and executes company policies that affect Company operations(s) across a small geographical area.
\n
• Develops, implements and maintains security procedures to meet business requirements.
\n
• Analyzes, investigates and recommends process improvements related to loss control and incident reports.
\n
• Manages and is accountable for the Security budget for the operations across a small geographic area.
\n
\n
Role Requirements
\n
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
\n
• Graduate degree preferred.
\n
• Strong knowledge of industrial security programs and the ability to identify and evaluate policies and procedures to compliment the business objectives while protecting company personnel and assets.
\n
• Certified Protection Professional or Certified Fraud Examiner or equivalent internationally recognized qualification.
