Director of Information Technology

Compensation: $175,000–$225,000 annually + Performance Incentives & Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Director of Information Technology to provide strategic leadership over the organization's technology environment. This position will oversee infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, technology vendors, IT operations, and major technology initiatives while ensuring technology investments support broader business goals.

The Director will partner with executive and departmental leadership to understand operational needs, identify technology opportunities, and develop a roadmap for secure and scalable systems. This individual will also be responsible for strengthening cybersecurity and business continuity while ensuring employees have reliable technology and support.

The ideal candidate is more than a technical expert. We are seeking a business-minded technology leader capable of translating complex technical issues into clear business decisions and determining where technology can improve efficiency, security, scalability, and organizational performance.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute the organization's technology strategy and roadmap.
  • Oversee IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, networks, cloud environments, and support operations.
  • Strengthen cybersecurity, data protection, disaster recovery, and business-continuity practices.
  • Manage technology vendors, contracts, licenses, and budgets.
  • Evaluate and implement systems that improve efficiency and business performance.
  • Establish IT policies, standards, controls, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify technology needs and opportunities.
  • Lead major system implementations, migrations, and technology initiatives.
  • Recruit, develop, and lead high-performing technology teams.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive technology experience with substantial leadership responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and IT governance.
  • Experience managing major technology projects and vendor relationships.
  • Strong budgeting and strategic-planning skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
