Compensation: $18.90–$21.00 per hour

Role Overview
Our client is seeking a NOC Technician to provide continuous monitoring, support, documentation, and escalation for enterprise computer systems, network infrastructure, data center environments, applications, and after-hours service desk operations. This role serves as a central point of contact during system alerts, maintenance activities, outages, vendor calls, and infrastructure issues while helping ensure reliable business operations and timely issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support corporate and operational computer systems, including hardware, software, CPU usage, file systems, and network infrastructure.
- Monitor network infrastructure, including firewalls, telecom systems, and data center environments.
- Monitor, restart, and support file system backups.
- Monitor batch processing activity and assist with problem resolution.
- Monitor and support enterprise application processes, including SAP-related systems.
- Answer support calls and third-party vendor calls, documenting issues and escalating to the appropriate support teams.
- Coordinate with production control and technical support teams regarding critical alerts and system issues.
- Support scheduled outages, maintenance activities, and incident response efforts.
- Compile and distribute daily and weekly operational reports.
- Maintain updated NOC procedures and support team call-duty rosters.
- Help maintain continuous operational coverage and ensure service disruptions are escalated promptly.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Network Operations Center, service desk, help desk, systems monitoring, infrastructure support, or related IT operations role.
- Ability to monitor and troubleshoot computer systems, applications, backups, batch processing, telecom systems, and network infrastructure.
- Strong documentation, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to escalate incidents clearly, accurately, and efficiently.
- Ability to remain focused while monitoring systems for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a high-stress environment and respond professionally during outages, alerts, and urgent support situations.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift or exert up to 40 pounds as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting data center operations or enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Experience monitoring SAP applications or other business-critical enterprise systems.
- Experience coordinating scheduled outages, maintenance windows, or critical alert response.
- Familiarity with network monitoring, telecom infrastructure, firewalls, backups, and batch processing environments.
