Education & Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in industrial environment
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience required
- Valid Driver’s License required
- PLC and robotics experience preferred
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, pneumatic, and hydraulic system knowledge
- Experience with cranes, forklifts, welding, machining equipment, and hand/power tools
- Basic computer and math skills, including use of measuring devices
- Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules and maintain a strong safety and quality focus
Responsibilities
- Direct, oversee, and evaluate the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems following standard operating, safety, and quality procedures that include setup actions for product runs; calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems; inspection of belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; and providing corrective actions as required.
- Develop and implement schedules and procedures for preventive maintenance programs.
- Oversee inside/outside repair actions for buildings and grounds following standard operating, safety, and quality procedures.
- Oversee inside/outside, minor/major emergency repairs as required for buildings, grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating, safety, and quality procedures.
- Conduct and complete employee performance reviews; recommend personnel actions such as hirings, promotions, or unbiased discipline; and prepare maintenance and/or other shift reports as required.
- Oversee computerized control and monitoring of mechanical equipment.
- Coordinate and/or oversee cleanup actions adhering to housekeeping requirements after maintenance or repair actions are completed.
