Project Manager / Senior Project Manager: K-12 & Civic, Design-Build

Puget Sound, WA | Full-time | $170,000–$180,000 base + bonus + car allowance

Appleton Finn is partnering with a well-established general contractor, 60+ years in business with offices in three states, to hire a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to lead its K-12 and civic work across Puget Sound.
\n
\n
This is a high-impact role. You'll lead pursuits as well as projects, helping the business grow in two key markets, with a direct line to the regional president. Strong Project Managers ready for the next step will be considered for a Senior PM title.

What you'll do
\n
- Lead K-12 and civic projects through design-build delivery, from pursuit and preconstruction through to closeout
\n
- Shape winning pursuits, including proposals and selection interviews
\n
- Manage budgets, schedules, buyout, change orders and owner relationships
\n
- Work closely with design teams and public owners such as school districts, cities and counties
\n
- Lead and develop project teams
\n
\n
What you'll bring
\n
- Design-build experience (required)
\n
- K-12 and/or government/civic project experience
\n
- GC/CM experience, including MACC negotiation, is a strong plus
\n
- Typically 5+ years as a Project Manager with a commercial general contractor
\n
- Puget Sound project experience and knowledge of local subcontractors and public-work requirements
\n
- Strong client-facing and communication skills
\n
\n
Compensation and benefits
\n
- Base salary: $170,000–$180,000, depending on experience
\n
- Bonus: $20,000+
\n
