The Maintenance Technician for Car Wash is responsible for ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of tunnel car wash systems. Serving as a solo technician, this role involves preventive maintenance, timely repairs, and troubleshooting to maximize equipment uptime. Regular on-call availability is required to address any emergency situations promptly. The technician uses both paper logs and CMMS software to document maintenance activities, supporting safety and operational compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on tunnel car wash equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Troubleshoot system issues to minimize downtime
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Conduct regular inspections and machine calibration
- Manage parts replacement and maintain inventory levels
- Document maintenance activities using paper logs and CMMS software
- Provide customer support during technical issues or service interruptions
- Respond promptly to emergency and on-call maintenance requests
