Contents Project Manager
$60,000-$65,000
Our Contents Project Manager functions as a strategic leader and hands-on supervisor, balancing high-level process design with daily field operations. The Contents Manager and their team inventory, clean, and store damaged belongings after events like fires or floods.
Workflow Strategy: Build fast, clear steps for safely moving, cleaning, and tracking damaged items.
Team Leadership: Act as a "player-coach." Manage the team, but also help pack items and work on claims.
Customer Care: Meet with stressed clients. Walk them through the steps to save their personal belongings.

- Follow and/or build step-by-step checklists for your field teams.

- Inventory Tracking: Keeping exact records so nothing gets lost or damaged more.
- Mitigation Knowledge: Knowing how to treat items damaged by water, mold, or smoke (like using ozone or ultrasonic cleaners).
- Empathy: Guiding homeowners who are often dealing with a difficult personal tragedy
Requirements:
- A solid proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook). You must navigate platforms like SharePoint and OneDrive for file sharing. You will also use industry-specific tracking and management tools.
- Scope/Estimation: Creating accurate pack out and cleaning scope/estimates is a primary daily task.
- Emergency Services: You must understand property mitigation and restoration procedures to guide customers during a crisis.
- Job Coordination: You will juggle multiple active repair jobs at the same time.
- Team Management: You will oversee and coach a staff of up to twenty employees.
- Customer Service: Strong, compassionate communication is required to help clients during disasters.
- You must keep your cool, manage stress, and protect client privacy when handling emergency situations.
- Documents for inventory for pack outs in our main operating system, RMS
- Communicate and negotiate with the customers regarding inventory, personalized services and warranty work
- Ability to create documents and coordinate multiple jobs within the same time frame
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Two or more years experience in a Management or Leadership role
- Three or more years experience within the Contents Division within the Restoration Industry
- Experience with content processing procedures
Preferred Education and Experience
- Working knowledge of RMS, Xactimate, and XactAnalysis
Physical Requirement
- Must be able to stay in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
- This position requires that you be able to stand on a ladder
- This position requires that you clean using wet and dry options
- This position requires that you box contents and move boxed items.
- The person in this position needs to frequently move about client’s properties to complete estimates and oversee completion of jobs
- Must be able to communicate and converse with customers and staff over the phone and face to face
- Occasionally will lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Travel
This position will require up to 90% local travel to jobs sites (as needed).
