Job DescriptionWe are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join a well-established manufacturing operation in High Point, NC. This position is part of a close-knit maintenance team with extensive tenure and a strong safety culture. This role offers a unique opportunity for career growth and advancement into a leadership position.

Position responsibilities:

· Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.

· Reports parts and materials utilized on work orders in order to maintain inventory levels of essential spare parts,

· Promotes safe practice with regards to our Regulator and Safety Departments.

· Preforms Welding and fabrication for plant & facility.

· Performs preventive maintenance and reports unsafe conditions to management.

· Performs painting, carpentry, concrete and other trades as required.

· Performs tool operating such as grinders, pipe threaders, metal saws, drill press, and other tools as needed.

Essential skills and experience:

· Ability to utilize both hand tools and pipe cutters, threading equipment and drill press.

· Ability to drive a forklift.

· Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions.

· Ability to perform maintenance on and repair pumps.

· Ability to climb a ladders, lift up to 75lbs. and be able to enter and work in confined spaces.

· Ability to operate company vehicle.

  • Starting pay of $25/hour
  • $1/hour increase after 100 days
