We’re seeking Forward Deployed Software Engineer to join Full-time position in NYC

Salary: $200k–$225k plus

Work policy: Onsite NYC

Hiring Count: Looking to hire 3 candidates for this role

About the Role

The Forward Deployed Engineer owns customer and partner integrations from scoping through go-live, working across payments infrastructure, product, and engineering. This role combines hands-on platform building, production debugging, customer-facing technical work, and roadmap input for a stablecoin clearinghouse. TBMC is a small, fast-moving NYC team that prioritizes autonomy, ownership, and pace.
Ideal Background

Client manager said backend and platform/distributed-systems profiles move fastest right now, with security engineering also in scope. FDE is still valued, but weight backend/platform submissions first if you have to choose.

Must-Have Requirements
• Payment integrations
• API-side perspective
• Customer translation
• Payment’s fluency

1. At least 3 years building and shipping integrations with payment systems, financial infrastructure, and/or banking partners.

2. Has experienced integrations from the customer or API consumer side and understands what makes an integration experience effective or difficult.

3. Can translate between engineering and customer language without losing technical fidelity.

4. Understands complex flows of funds well enough to move quickly through payment-related integrations.

5. Stablecoin or blockchain experience is preferred but not required.

6. Prior forward-deployed or solutions-engineering experience is a bonus.
