Hybrid 3 days onsite
Seeking a Senior Java/J2EE Developer to build and support scalable enterprise applications in a global Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and global IT teams to deliver projects.
- Design and develop stable, scalable server-side applications aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Provide hands-on development, testing, and code coverage.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, and stand-ups.
- Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate technical requirements.
- Apply modern development, testing, and DevOps best practices.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong Core Java, J2EE, Spring, and Hibernate/ORM experience.
- Enterprise server-side application development.
- REST/SOAP Web Services, XML, XPath, XSLT, JSON.
- Apache Tomcat or similar web server experience.
- Strong SQL/database skills; Sybase or DB2 preferred.
- JUnit and experience with profiling tools such as JProfiler/JProbe.
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Unix/Linux development experience.
- Exposure to Angular, JavaScript, or React.
- Experience with JIRA/ALM tools, Agile methodologies, and DevOps.
- Exposure to AI tools and models.
Domain Experience:
- Financial markets, banking products, or wealth management preferred.
Ideal Candidate:
A strong hands-on Java engineer with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and experience working in fast-paced global Agile environments.
