Job Title: Mobile QA Tester
Location: Plano, TX, 75023
Duration: 12 months Contract
Pay Scale: $32/hr
Job Description:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and cross-functional teams
- Detect, track, and document software defects, performance issues, and inconsistencies
- Design, execute, and maintain functional, regression, and performance test cases for mobile apps and system features
- Analyze test results and provide detailed reports and feedback to the development team
- Validate firmware, connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE/5G), and hardware interactions
- Conduct manual and automated testing as per defined procedures and quality criteria
- Perform testing throughout all phases of the mobile software life cycle — design, develop, test, release, and maintenance
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to handle multiple testing tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong understanding of mobile Android OS platforms and device ecosystems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Excellent time-management and documentation skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Plus with Experience with mobile test tools (e.g., ADB, Jira, TestRail, or similar)
Experience/Level:
- Beginner: 0–3 years of experience in mobile software or QA testing
