Title: Maintenance Sr Technician
Pay Rate: $21-22/HR on W2
Hours: M-F 7AM - 3:30PM some OT might be available
Location: 550 Veterans United Dr. Columbia, MO 65301

Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:
Candidate will be working in a call center
Client critical environment
Candidate will need to be able to do a lot of walking all day
Must be able to lift at least 50lbs

Team Overview:
Candidate will be working as part of a team

Completing daily work orders
- PM's
- RM's
Light electrical
Basic plumbing
General maintenance
Basic HVAC
Waste removal
Assembling furniture

Licenses/Certifications:
HVAC certifications highly preferred
Plumbing certifications preferred

Must Have Skills:
Excellent time management skills
General maintenance skills
Strong Mechanical Skills
Electrical skills
plumbing skills

Nice to have skills:
Commercial HVAC experience is a huge plus

Soft Skills:
Good verbal communications skills
Willingness to learn new skills
Excellent customer service skills

Years of Experience:3+ years

Education
H.S. diploma or GED

Software skills:
Basic computer skills
Tablet skills
Outlook experience
CMMS experience

Interview Process:1st round virtual with H.M
2nd round virtual with H.M and F.M

About the Role:
As a Maintenance Sr. Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
What You’ll Do:
•Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
•Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
•Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
•Assign work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
•Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
•Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
•Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.
•Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
•Impact the quality of own work.
•Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
•Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.

What You’ll Need:
•High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
•Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
•Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
•Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
•In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
•Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
