Hilty’s Electrical Contracting is looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join our Phoenix team.

Founded in 1977, Hilty’s is an established electrical contractor specializing in large-scale multifamily construction. We are an employee-owned company (ESOP) with a strong pipeline of work and are looking for an experienced Project Manager who wants to build a long-term career with our organization.

This is not simply an administrative PM position. We are looking for someone who understands electrical construction, takes ownership of their projects, communicates effectively with both the field and general contractors, and knows how to manage a project financially from start to finish.

What You'll Be Responsible For

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for assigned projects, including:

Managing projects from startup through final completion and closeout
Managing project budgets, costs, commitments, billings, and profitability
Reviewing electrical plans, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work
Coordinating directly with general contractors and project stakeholders
Working closely with Superintendents and field leadership
Monitoring manpower requirements, schedules, and project milestones
Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Identifying scope changes and ensuring additional work is properly documented and billed
Coordinating material purchasing, equipment, and long-lead items
Reviewing job costs and monitoring projects against budget
Preparing project forecasts and identifying potential cost overruns
Participating in project meetings and maintaining strong relationships with our customers
Resolving project issues before they impact schedule or profitability
Ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget

What We're Looking For

Electrical construction experience is strongly preferred.

The successful candidate should have:

Project management experience in electrical or commercial construction
Multifamily construction experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of electrical construction processes
Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
