Job Description
The Quality Technician plays a key role in ensuring that production lines consistently meet batch record requirements, product specifications, and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) standards. This position focuses on auditing, documentation, and process verification while supporting a culture of continuous improvement and lean practices within a diverse manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Audit production lines for conformance to Batch Records, product specifications, and cGMP requirements.
- Inspect manufacturing equipment to verify cleanliness and readiness for use.
- Perform audits on time with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Accurately record audit results in Batch Records and other required documentation.
- Initiate corrective adjustments to manufacturing processes when needed, document these adjustments, and perform documented rechecks to verify successful implementation.
- Escalate issues according to established procedures to ensure timely correction and effective containment.
- Immediately report non-conformances to the Quality Unit to support prompt resolution.
- Support investigations of quality events as needed to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with production, quality, and other cross-functional teams.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
