Job Description

Key Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLC-controlled equipment, automated production systems, and industrial controls.
  • \n

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, ladder logic, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
  • \n

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, VFDs, starters, relays, sensors, HMIs, and control circuits.
  • \n

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, including conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and related systems.
  • \n

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, including equipment changeovers, startups, commissioning, and emergency repairs.
  • \n

  • Lead complex troubleshooting efforts, identify root causes, mentor maintenance personnel, and support equipment upgrades, reliability improvements, safety initiatives, and accurate maintenance documentation.

Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
  • \n

  • 7–10 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience supporting automated production equipment.
  • \n

  • Advanced PLC troubleshooting experience with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron, or similar control platforms.
  • \n

  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems up to 480V, including motors, drives, controls, sensors, and automation components.
  • \n

  • Extensive experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with the ability to interpret applicable schematics and technical documentation.
  • \n

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills; CMMS experience and knowledge of safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures preferred.
  • \n
