Location: Ward Hill, MA
Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)Position Objective
Join our team as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, where you will handle equipment and facility installation, repairs, and preventative maintenance for site infrastructure and utilities. You’ll be integral to supporting efficient operations while ensuring a safe and productive work environment.Essential Functions
- Perform installations and repairs on equipment and facilities, including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, HVAC, chillers, and associated systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues alongside coworkers from various departments.
- Respond to emergency repair needs and complete preventative maintenance as required by company procedures and regulatory standards.
- Manage inventory of spare parts, consumables, and tools.
- Monitor and assess daily facility and manufacturing equipment, identifying and recommending solutions for inefficiencies.
- Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs or services.
- Assist in creating and maintaining critical documentation such as blueprints, plans, and permits.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification in mechanical or electrical trades preferred.
- Advanced industrial mechanic skills and broad technical knowledge.
- Experience with industrial electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, air compressors, HVAC, chillers, painting, carpentry, and small-scale construction.
- Familiarity with 5-S principles.
- Basic PC proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work independently.
- Willingness to work overtime, off shifts, and respond to call-ins when needed.
