PART-TIME COMMERCIAL CLEANER
Location: Macon Ga
Schedule: Part-time, evenings and/or weekends, 1025 hours per week depending on client needs
Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Commercial Cleaner to help maintain clean, safe, and professional environments for our commercial clients. The ideal candidate is dependable, able to work independently, and takes pride in delivering high-quality cleaning services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning tasks in offices, restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust floors and surfaces.
- Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, toilets, mirrors, and other restroom fixtures.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean interior glass, doors, and windows as needed.
- Restock restroom and break room supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to management.
- Ensure assigned areas are secured after cleaning, including turning off lights and locking doors if required.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete assigned tasks on schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to use standard cleaning tools and equipment, including mops, vacuums, and dusting tools.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned work locations.
- Must be available to work evening and/or weekend shifts as needed.
- Must be able to pass a background check if required by the client site.
