A growing consumer products organization is seeking a Data Engineer to play a critical role in modernizing and scaling its enterprise data and analytics environment. This individual will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing Data Warehouse solutions, developing robust ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating ERP and business systems, and enabling enterprise reporting and AI-driven analytics initiatives across the organization.

The role will help shape the company's data strategy while supporting emerging technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, AI-assisted analytics, and modern data platforms.

Responsibilities:
\n
- \n
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Data Warehouse architecture, including staging layers, data marts, and ETL/ELT pipelines
- Build, enhance, and support ETL workflows using SSIS and other data integration tools
- Integrate and transform data from ERP systems, APIs, and other enterprise applications
- Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL scripts, stored procedures, and database objects for performance and scalability
- Support and enhance Power BI dashboards, datasets, and reporting solutions
- Implement data quality controls, monitoring processes, and automation initiatives
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Collaborate with analytics, finance, operations, and IT teams to support reporting and decision-making needs
- Create and maintain data documentation, architecture diagrams, and governance standards
- Develop processes to ensure data consistency, reliability, and accessibility across the organization
- Support cloud-based data initiatives involving Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and modern analytics platforms
- Enable AI-ready data environments that support Microsoft Copilot, AI-driven analytics, and advanced business intelligence solutions
- Improve operational efficiency through automation and optimization of existing data workflows
- Support CI/CD and deployment best practices for data engineering projects
- Troubleshoot data issues, pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks across the data ecosystem

Qualifications:
\n
- \n
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, ETL Development, or related disciplines
- Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise Data Warehouse environments
- Strong SQL Server expertise, including query optimization, stored procedures, indexing, and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining SSIS packages and ETL workflows
- Experience developing data models, star schemas, data marts, and Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCDs)
- Experience integrating data from multiple business systems and data sources
- Strong understanding of relational database design and data architecture best practices
- Experience supporting Power BI or other business intelligence platforms
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience integrating and supporting NetSuite ERP data
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, or comparable cloud data platforms
- Proficiency with Python and/or Airflow for data orchestration and automation
- Experience working with REST APIs and real-time data integrations
- Understanding of CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or GitHub
- Experience supporting finance, supply chain, manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce reporting environments
- Familiarity with data governance, security, compliance, and access controls
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot for Power BI, or AI-assisted analytics tools
- Knowledge of semantic models, AI-ready data architectures, and modern analytics frameworks
- Exposure to AI-driven automation, anomaly detection, or data quality monitoring solutions
- Experience supporting organizations undergoing data modernization initiatives
