2nd Shift Maintenance Tech
Peoplelink Staffing, in partnership with a prominent business in the Tupelo MS area is seeking 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech to join their team! This customer is offering a wide range of perks such as full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing!
2nd Shift Maintenance Tech Job Summary:
· Pay: $19.37 per hour
· Shifts Available:2nd Shift 4PM-12AM / 11AM-8PM
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and make necessary repairs.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and respond quickly to minimize production downtime.
- Repair and maintain conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, cutting equipment, and other manufacturing machinery.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facility systems.
- Install, assemble, and modify machinery and production equipment as needed.
- Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications when required.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently according to company standards.
- Assist with facility maintenance including lighting, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general building repairs.
- Work closely with production personnel to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training or maintenance certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Basic welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting is a plus.
- Basic computer skills required.
