Rocky Mountain Protective Service Inc. is seeking an experienced and dependable Security Supervisor to lead a team of unarmed security professionals in Greeley, Colorado.

The Security Supervisor will provide day-to-day supervision of security personnel while also assisting with security screening, access control, incident response, and other assigned security duties.

The ideal candidate is professional, reliable, comfortable working with the public, and capable of leading a security team in a professional facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide daily direction to assigned security officers.

• Ensure security posts are properly staffed and officers report for duty on time.

• Assist with security screening and access-control duties as needed.

• Monitor employee performance and compliance with post procedures.

• Operate and oversee the proper use of security screening equipment.

• Ensure prohibited or unauthorized items are handled according to established procedures.

• Conduct post inspections and monitor security operations.

• Coordinate officer breaks and daily post assignments.

• Respond to security incidents, alarms, emergencies, and unusual situations.

• Communicate security concerns promptly to appropriate personnel.

• Assist employees and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.

• Prepare and review incident reports, daily activity reports, and other required documentation.

• Ensure officers maintain professional appearance and conduct.

• Provide guidance and on-the-job support to security officers.

• Assist with training new security personnel.

• Maintain effective communication with management and facility personnel.

• Follow established emergency, evacuation, access-control, and safety procedures.

• Perform security officer duties when operationally necessary.

• Perform other security-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Previous security experience required.

• Previous supervisory, lead, or team-lead experience preferred.

• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

• Ability to professionally supervise and provide direction to security personnel.

• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during incidents or emergencies.

• Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports.

• Ability to follow written and verbal procedures.

• Ability to stand and work at security posts for extended periods.

• Must be dependable, punctual, and available for assigned shifts.

• Must successfully complete required background and employment screening.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must successfully complete all required job-specific training.
