IBM Tivoli Administrator for SAP ECC:
Key responsibilities often include:
- Troubleshooting SAP job failures and delays by analyzing logs and predecessor/successor relationships, and performing patch upgrades while maintaining integrations with enterprise monitoring tools. Leidos
- Installing and configuring infrastructure, performance tuning, problem resolution, security policy management, and directory services administration.
Skills & qualifications typically required:
- Job Scheduling: Configure and manage automated batch workflows within SAP environments (e.g., ECC, CRM, S/4HANA) utilizing Tivoli to trigger tasks.
- Workflow Automation: Define predecessor and successor dependencies so jobs trigger only after relevant data is successfully processed or consolidated.
- System Monitoring: Maintain the health, performance, and availability of applications using the IBM Tivoli Monitoring for SAP Agent.
- Incident Resolution: Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve job failures, abnormal terminations (ABENDs), and system bottlenecks.
- Cross-Platform Integration: Coordinate seamless data pipelines connecting SAP instances with external or legacy non-SAP databases.
- On-Call Support: Participate in production support, which often includes maintaining 24x7 service level requirements.
