General Service Automotive Technician
Big O Tires – Lindsey | Gilbert, AZ
$17–$19 per hour | Full-Time
AutoShop Recruiting has partnered with Big O Tires and Central Arizona Auto Group to hire a General Service Automotive Technician for the Lindsey Road location.
If you have at least one year of professional automotive experience and can confidently handle tires and routine maintenance, this is an opportunity to join a busy shop with room to advance.
What You’ll Do
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Check fluids and complete preventive maintenance
- Test and replace batteries
- Perform basic vehicle inspections
- Identify leaks, wear, and potential safety concerns
- Assist with brake services and minor repairs
- Support senior technicians with diagnostics and larger repairs
- Document services and inspection findings
- Communicate vehicle status to the service team
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum one year of professional automotive experience
- Hands-on tire and general-maintenance experience
- Ability to safely use tire equipment, lifts, hand tools, and power tools
- Dependable attendance and strong work habits
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds when required
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
