Senior Data Analyst with Power BI Experience (Healthcare)

About the Role - This role will be the second data hire and will focus on building Power BI visualizations and reports to drive business decisions. This is a senior role, reporting to the CFO, so someone with at least 4 years of experience and ideally experience building financial reports, along with supporting Sales and Marketing. The company is located just west of downtown Austin and is looking for someone to come into the office 3 days a week.

Responsibilitie

• Development and delivery of monthly reports to key stakeholders
• Work with 3rd-party data partners and own that relationship
• Key Data partner to the CFO, working on data optimization, efficiencies, and supporting the value of the organization in the market.

Required Skills:

• 4-7+ years of data & analytics or other relevant business intelligence experience, preferably working with Healthcare data, a well-known consulting company, or a private equity-backed company
• 2+ years working with Power BI and building reports and dashboards from scratch
• Strong SQL skills
• Exposure to Databricks will be a big plus
• Ability to create and execute the data strategy and roadmap
• Ability to work with healthcare data and use data to show cost savings
• Ability to use data to help the business make better decisions and drive sales

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working for a growing healthcare company and working with healthcare claims data.
• Data science or Machine Learning - areas of focus for the future
