Cornerstone Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. As a Maintenance Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facility, including but not limited to:

Maintaining a safe and clean environment: Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, safe, and well-maintained, including common areas, resident rooms, and public spaces.

Coordinating maintenance tasks: Plan, organize, and coordinate maintenance tasks, including repairs, renovations, and routine maintenance, to ensure that the facility remains in good condition.

Supervising staff: Supervise and train maintenance staff, including mechanics, carpenters, and other maintenance personnel, to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Managing budgets: Manage maintenance budgets, including purchasing and inventory management, to ensure that expenses are within budget.

Ensuring compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and codes.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including repairs, renovations, and routine maintenance

Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, including mechanics, carpenters, and other maintenance personnel

Manage maintenance budgets, including purchasing and inventory management

Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, dietary, and recreational services, to ensure smooth facility operations
Requirements:

Experience in maintenance or facility management: Prior experience in maintenance or facility management is preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills: Ability to lead and communicate effectively with staff, residents, and other stakeholders.

Attention to detail and organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail.
