Cornerstone Services is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. As a Maintenance Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

About the Role:

As a Maintenance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facility, including but not limited to:

• Maintaining a safe and clean environment: Ensure that all areas of the facility are clean, safe, and well-maintained, including common areas, resident rooms, and public spaces.

• Coordinating maintenance tasks: Plan, organize, and coordinate maintenance tasks, including repairs, renovations, and routine maintenance, to ensure that the facility remains in good condition.

• Supervising staff: Supervise and train maintenance staff, including mechanics, carpenters, and other maintenance personnel, to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

• Managing budgets: Manage maintenance budgets, including purchasing and inventory management, to ensure that expenses are within budget.

• Ensuring compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and codes.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the facility, including repairs, renovations, and routine maintenance

• Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, including mechanics, carpenters, and other maintenance personnel

• Manage maintenance budgets, including purchasing and inventory management

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and codes

• Plan, organize, and coordinate special projects and events

• Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, dietary, and recreational services, to ensure smooth facility operations

Requirements:

• Experience in maintenance or facility management: Prior experience in maintenance or facility management is preferred.

• Strong leadership and communication skills: Ability to lead and communicate effectively with staff, residents, and other stakeholders.

• Attention to detail and organizational skills: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail.
