Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Conover, NC 28613
Duration: 6+ Months
Pay rate: $20/hr. on W2
Job Description:
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Shift Hours: Full time, 6am to 2 pm
INTERVIEWS ARE REQUIRED
Must Haves:
- Mechanical training or experience
- basic electrical knowledge
- Safety training
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in our Preventative Maintenance program
Qualifications:
- Mechanical training or experience
- Electrical training a bonus
- Position Details
- Maintains accurate records using a tablet
- Clean inspect and document various pieces of equipment
- Verify worn components at key locations according to check list.
- Safety
- Must have LOTO training or experience
- PPE must be worn for this job, steel toe shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection
- The Preventive Maintenance technician will be responsible for the following:
- Cleaning and inspecting production equipment
- Verify oil level
- Add oil if necessary
- Clean and Lubricate chains
- Replace broken air lines
- Identify any oil leaks and clean up any oil
- Replace grease lines
- Grease bearings
- Change oil filters
- Change air filters
- Change Belts
- Keep accurate records of inspection
- Identify worn parts
- Create WO’s
- Remove Guards for inspections and reinstall for proper operation
