Miami (Hybrid work schedule: 4 Days In-Office)

\n

\n

Our client is a large, rapidly growing financial services organization completing over 10+ acquisitions per year. They are looking for a Valuation Manager to take ownership of the purchase price accounting (PPA) and acquisition valuation process.

\n

Rather than working across multiple clients and handing off the engagement, you'll sit on the other side of the table working directly with the company's M&A, Legal, FP&A, and Accounting teams throughout the entire deal lifecycle.

\n

\n

What You'll Own

\n

You'll lead purchase price accounting and valuation work associated with acquisitions, including:

\n

    \n
  • Purchase price allocations
  • \n

  • Valuation of acquired intangible assets
  • \n

  • Goodwill
  • \n

  • Earn-outs and contingent consideration
  • \n

  • Seller notes and acquisition-related liabilities
  • \n

  • Quarterly and annual fair value assessments
  • \n

  • Valuation models and acquisition accounting documentation
  • \n

  • Coordination with external valuation specialists and auditors
  • \n

  • Technical accounting matters associated with M&A transactions
  • \n

\n

\n

You'll partner with M&A, Legal, FP&A and operational teams from due diligence through post-acquisition integration.

\n

\n

Who We're Looking For

\n

The ideal candidate is currently a Senior or Manager within a valuation practice at a CPA or professional services firm and is ready to make the move in-house.

\n

\n

Most important requirement: You must have at least 1–2 years of hands-on valuation experience.

\n

\n

We're particularly interested in candidates with experience involving:

\n

    \n
  • Purchase Price Accounting / PPA
  • \n

  • ASC 805 / Business Combinations
  • \n

  • Intangible asset valuations
  • \n

  • Discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis
  • \n

  • Income and market approaches
  • \n

  • Fair value measurements
  • \n

\n

The broader profile is approximately 4–7 years of progressive experience, with public accounting or professional services experience strongly preferred.
