Maintenance Technician / Van Driver

Job Summary

At Cumberland Nursing and Rehab, we are committed to Serving with Pride and providing exceptional care to our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician / Van Driver to join our team. As a key member of our facility, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our environment, while providing safe and reliable transportation for our residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine technical support in environmental services, including making preventive maintenance rounds, logging equipment checks and tests, and performing regular repairs and replacements

• Conduct outdoor maintenance and cosmetic repairs, and perform all required general and/or specific maintenance tasks

• Provide safe and reliable transportation for residents to and from appointments and activities

• Attend training sessions and education classes to maintain and enhance quality of care

• Follow established departmental, center, and corporate policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and clean environment

• Ensure residents arrive at appointments on time and in a safe manner

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent

• 1-2 years related experience

• Good driving record
