About the Role:
As a Facilities Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs to maintain the overall condition of our facility. This includes, but is not limited to:

Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing equipment and fixtures

Responding to maintenance requests from residents, staff, and management
-
Identifying and reporting potential safety hazards and taking corrective action
-
Collaborating with other departments to ensure a seamless resident experience

Maintaining accurate records of work performed and materials used
Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:

Cleaning and disinfecting common areas, appliances, and equipment

Painting and repairing walls, doors, and other surfaces
-
Maintaining and repairing plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

Respond to maintenance requests from residents, staff, and management in a timely and efficient manner

Identify and report potential safety hazards and take corrective action

Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless resident experience

Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used

Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent required
-
Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a related field preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
