General Statement of Duties:
Perform cleaning activities to rooms, equipment, and accessories. Replenish area supplies such as garbage bags, sticky mats, etc. Record cleaning activities on applicable required documents.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow daily maintenance schedule.
- Mop floors.
- Clean bathrooms and breakrooms.
- Check and refill self-cleaning products.
- Empty waste baskets.
- Vacuum floors, mats, and carpets.
- Other duties as appropriate.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language and be understood.
- Must be able to handle information in a confidential manner.
- Handle basic maintenance, cleaning, and other janitorial work.
- Ability to manage your time efficiently.
- Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies.
- 1-3 years in a janitorial role.
- Bilingual.
Physical/Mental Demands:
- Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
- Physical activity includes walking, standing, bending, squatting, reaching above shoulders, and lifting to 40lbs.
- May be required to drive an automobile for short distances.
- May be subject to changes in temperature and exposure to dust.
- Will work in a normally acceptable office environment, production floor, or warehouse, with no abnormal hazards or risks.
