Location: Oakes KIA | North Kansas City, MO
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $5,000 - $6,000 per Month

About the Role

Oakes Auto Group is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance, appearance, and operational functionality of our dealership properties across multiple locations. This role is responsible for coordinating repairs, managing facility-related projects, and ensuring each dealership remains safe, efficient, and operating at the highest standard. What You’ll Do

  • Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of facilities across multiple Oakes Auto Group locations.

  • Coordinate and manage building repairs, preventative maintenance, and improvement projects.

  • Respond to facility issues quickly and work with dealership leadership to prioritize repairs and minimize downtime.

  • Perform or coordinate general maintenance including electrical work, painting, building repairs, carpentry, and other commercial property maintenance.

  • Inspect dealership properties regularly to ensure buildings, equipment, and grounds remain safe, functional, and well maintained.

  • Schedule and oversee outside vendors and contractors when specialized work is required.

  • Troubleshoot facility-related issues and identify long-term solutions.

  • Manage maintenance priorities while balancing requests from multiple dealership locations.

  • Assist leadership with building improvement projects and operational needs.

  • Maintain a clean, professional, and safe working environment throughout all dealership properties.

  • Ensure repairs are completed efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.

  • Support dealership management with facility planning and preventative maintenance initiatives.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to pass a standard background check

  • Strong reliability and consistent attendance

  • Comfortable traveling between dealership locations as needed

  • Ability to safely lift, carry, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance work

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities

  • Experience in commercial or residential building maintenance preferred

  • Experience with electrical work, painting, carpentry, plumbing, general construction, or basic HVAC troubleshooting preferred

  • Experience coordinating maintenance vendors and preventative maintenance programs is a plus
