Overview
Enterprise Security Services Corporation is seeking Unarmed Security Officers to support retail, hospitality, and commercial sites across the Virginia Beach area. As a women- and minority-owned company with over three decades of experience, we provide professional, customer-focused security services to high-traffic environments.

Where you'll work
This role covers client locations in and around Virginia Beach, including stores, shopping centers, hotels, and similar venues. Worksites are assigned based on coverage needs and may rotate between assignments. We are seeking officers who can reliably serve sites throughout the area.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence while ensuring site safety
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for security and safety concerns
• Assist guests, shoppers, and staff with a strong customer service approach
• Deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access through active patrol
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner
• Monitor surveillance systems and report unusual activity
• Complete accurate incident reports and shift logs

Requirements

• Hold or be able to obtain a Virginia DCJS unarmed security officer registration
• Meet Virginia's minimum age and eligibility requirements for security registration
• Pass a criminal background check
• Possess reliable transportation to assigned sites across the Virginia Beach area
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner when engaging with the public
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• A background in security, hospitality, or customer service is an asset

Uniform & equipment
Must be able to obtain a Class A black uniform; communication equipment may be provided.

Schedule
Shifts may include days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
