TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an experienced IT Programmer Analyst for a healthcare facility in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in application development and technical support, with strong expertise in Infor Lawson ERP, Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow. Candidates must have hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Infor Lawson applications to support complex business requirements. This position will also be responsible for analyzing business processes, evaluating system performance, and identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Infor Lawson applications using Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow.
- Provide application and technical support for Infor Lawson ERP systems.
- Analyze complex business requirements and develop technical solutions to support organizational needs.
- Troubleshoot application issues, identify system errors, and implement effective solutions.
- Perform application modifications, system enhancements, testing, and debugging.
- Write, modify, and maintain SQL queries to support data management, reporting, and system functionality.
- Develop and support automated workflows using Infor Lawson ProcessFlow.
- Monitor system resources, application performance, and operational processes to ensure efficiency.
- Conduct moderate to complex technical and business process analyses.
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements to system functionality and departmental performance.
- Analyze historical data and trends to identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and department leadership to address technical needs.
- Provide ongoing system maintenance, troubleshooting, and application support.
- Assist with applications outside the Infor Lawson environment when needed.
- Perform additional IT programming and analytical duties as assigned.
Required:
- Minimum 2 years of IT programming, application development, or technical support experience.
- Hands-on experience developing applications within the Infor Lawson ERP environment.
- Strong proficiency in Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow.
- Experience providing application and technical support for Infor Lawson systems.
- Ability to develop technical solutions for complex business requirements.
- Experience troubleshooting, debugging, modifying, and maintaining enterprise applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to evaluate business processes and recommend technical improvements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting ERP systems within a healthcare or hospital environment.
- Experience working with applications outside the Infor Lawson environment.
- Knowledge of enterprise application integrations, workflow automation, and system optimization.
- Experience analyzing operational data and preparing reports to support business decisions.
Additional Information
This is a full-time contract opportunity supporting a healthcare organization located in Houston, TX. Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
