Part Time Custodian – 2nd Shift
Compensation: Starting at $16.00/hour. Higher starting rates may be offered based on relevant experience, proven reliability, and work history
Schedule: Monday-Friday 4:30pm-8:30pm - No Weekends!
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
About the Role
EG Workplace Services is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Custodians to join our Managed Services team. We provide professional cleaning and facility support services for offices, executive, and manufacturing environments throughout the Greater Grand Rapids area. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality results and maintaining clean, safe, and professional workplaces.
What You'll Do
- Clean and maintain offices, executive suites, restrooms, break rooms, common areas, and manufacturing spaces
- Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, locker rooms, and other shared areas following established procedures
- Vacuum, sweep, dust, and mop floors to maintain a clean and professional environment
- Operate floor scrubbers and other janitorial equipment safely and effectively
- Ensure executive and high-visibility areas consistently meet elevated cleanliness standards
- Monitor supplies and report maintenance or facility concerns as needed
- Follow all safety, quality, and professionalism standards while maintaining confidentiality when required
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous janitorial, custodial, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance experience preferred
- Experience cleaning executive offices, professional workplaces, or corporate environments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attendance, reliability, and time-management skills
- Reliable transportation and steel-toe shoes required
