Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day

Position Overview

\n

The Analytical Operations Scientist will support the Bioanalysis-Drug Metabolism/Pharmacokinetics (BA-DMPK) team by managing and characterizing critical reagents used in bioanalytical assays supporting both non-clinical and clinical studies.

\n

This role requires strong scientific aptitude, analytical laboratory experience, and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will contribute to reagent management, analytical characterization, laboratory operations, data documentation, and regulatory compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

\n

Reagent & Inventory Management

\n

    \n
  • Manage standard, specialized, and custom reagents, matrices, and reference standards.
  • \n

  • Perform inventory management, receipt, storage, tracking, and monitoring of critical reagents.
  • \n

  • Resolve inventory discrepancies and maintain organized records.
  • \n

  • Manage off-site reagent storage and sample tracking activities.
  • \n

\n

Analytical Characterization

\n

    \n
  • Perform analytical characterization of critical reagents.
  • \n

  • Conduct concentration determination and analytical testing using:
  • \n

  • Analytical Size Exclusion Chromatography (aSEC)
  • \n

  • Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS)
  • \n

  • Analyze and interpret scientific data to support assay development and validation activities.
  • \n

\n

Laboratory Operations

\n

    \n
  • Support laboratory safety initiatives and compliance activities.
  • \n

  • Conduct routine safety inspections, including eyewash stations and fire extinguishers.
  • \n

  • Coordinate pipette and balance calibration activities across DMPK laboratories.
  • \n

  • Assist with additional laboratory operational responsibilities, including equipment maintenance and freezer management.
  • \n

\n

Documentation & Scientific Reporting

\n

    \n
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation.
  • \n

  • Archive analytical data, reports, and supporting documents in electronic laboratory notebooks.
  • \n

  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and scientific summaries.
  • \n

  • Present findings to internal teams and clearly communicate scientific conclusions.
  • \n

Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • \n

  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices and internal procedures.
  • \n

  • Perform all duties safely and responsibly within a regulated research environment.

Required Qualifications

\n

Education

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Analytical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
  • \n

  • 0-3 years of relevant laboratory or industry experience.
  • \n

\n
