Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with approximately 5+ years of hands-on project management experience, preferably within the utilities industry, to support technology transformation, business integration, and M&A initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional business and technology teams, working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments, and supporting complex system or process transformation programs. Familiarity with Customer Information Systems (CIS) or utility customer-facing platforms is preferred, but deep CIS implementation experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end delivery of technology, business transformation, and integration projects across the utilities organization.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and status reports.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across business, IT, operations, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Support M&A and business integration initiatives, including application integration, system consolidation, process alignment, data migration, and transition planning.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, as applicable.
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, technical teams, and business stakeholders to manage requirements, priorities, and delivery timelines.
- Track project scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate concerns as needed, using tool such as Jira/Asana.
- Support initiatives involving customer-facing utility systems such as CIS, billing, CRM, customer portals, metering, data platforms, and related integrations.
- Coordinate testing and implementation activities including SIT, UAT, defect management, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and production stabilization.
- Facilitate project governance meetings and provide clear communication to sponsors, leadership teams, and key stakeholders.
- Manage third-party vendors and system integration partners to ensure alignment with project deliverables and timelines.
- Maintain project documentation, decisions, action items, and governance artifacts.
- Identify delivery risks and proactively develop mitigation and contingency plans.
- Drive resolution of cross-functional issues and dependencies to maintain project momentum.

Required Qualifications

- 2+ years of Project Management experience managing technology, transformation, integration, or business initiatives.
- Experience working within the utilities, energy, or another complex regulated industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Experience managing cross-functional business and technical teams.
- Experience supporting integration, system consolidation, migration, or organizational transformation projects.
- Strong project planning, risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Experience managing projects involving enterprise applications, data, integrations, or customer-facing systems.
- Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and executive reporting skills.
- Experience working with vendors, consulting partners, and geographically distributed teams.
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Asana, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
