Job DescriptionMAINTENANCE ASSISTANTMonday - Friday 6:00 am - 3:30 pm $19.87 per hour ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Assist maintenance technicians with repairs, maintenance, and equipment upkeep.
- Perform basic preventative maintenance and routine maintenance tasks.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and simple maintenance equipment safely.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with moving materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
- Support maintenance projects and special assignments as directed.
- Work flexible shifts and overtime when required.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Some experience with basic electrical work and general facility maintenance.
- Experience operating forklifts, SkyTrak telehandlers, and scissor lifts.
- Ability to safely operate or learn to operate various maintenance equipment and powered industrial vehicles.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are a plus.
