Job Description
As a Security Officer Access Screening Driver in Nederland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location where you will help manage access control, monitor activity, and conduct routine patrols while remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Bring strong customer service and communication as you support daily operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process visitors and deliveries, and document access activity to help support site access requirements and other security-related operations.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, restricted areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Assist with enforcing location rules regarding vehicle access, contractor check-in, restricted area entry, and reporting procedures to help support an orderly and professional environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
