Golden MGT, a local, family-owned property management company, is seeking a dependable, motivated Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team in Union, Missouri.
This position is responsible for maintaining Oak View Village, a well-maintained 138-unit villa community serving independent adults age 55 and older. If you take pride in your work, enjoy solving problems, and appreciate working for a company that values its employees, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Complete resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems (HVAC certification is a plus but not required)
- Repair and replace household appliances
- Prepare vacant units for new residents, including repairs and preventative maintenance
- Perform routine building, grounds, and preventative maintenance
- Maintain a safe, clean, and attractive property
- Participate in a 3 person on-call rotation for after-hour maintenance emergencies
- Complete other maintenance-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience in apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance
- Possess working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair
- Be dependable, self-motivated, and organized
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical duties required of the position
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
