Job Description

Job Summary

Responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff at Shriners Hospitals for Children through vigilant observation, patrols, and response to incidents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of functions related to the safety and security of hospital staff, patients, families, visitors and general public in accordance with city, state and federal laws and regulations. Consistently maintains excellent customer service and guest relations skills and abilities

  • Exercises responsibility in responding to security needs of hospital visitors, patients and staff, as well as greeting and assisting all personnel at the front lobby. Consistently maintains excellent customer service and guest relations skills and abilities


Required Qualifications

  • Consumer Affairs Security Officers License

  • State driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Security or law enforcement experience

  • Hospital experience

The pay range for this position is $18.15 - $27.24. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
