Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Manager - Des Plaines, Illinois | 7am-3:30pm
Zing Recruiting has partnered with a successful area construction materials supplier to fill an onsite Facilities & Grounds Manager role. They seek a proactive and experienced candidate within a construction or industrial space to oversee and maintain grounds and building as well as all work that must be done at the site to maintain upkeep.
Qualifications include:
- H.S. or GED
- Degree a PLUS
- 2+ years experience overseeing facilities and grounds in a construction or industrial setting
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of buildings and infrastructure
- Manage maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance programs
- Manage projects related to construction, renovation, and facility improvements
- Coordinate schedulng with vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Develop project scopes, timelines, and budgets
- Track project progress and adjust plans as needed
- Prepare reports and communicate project status to leadership
Pay is based on experience. Potentially in the 65k-80k range, however, open to candidates with stronger experience.
