Oahu Building Maintenance (OBM) is seeking a dependable custodian to help keep Kaneohe Shopping Center clean, safe, and well-maintained. This position includes outdoor groundskeeping and routine janitorial duties throughout the property.
Responsibilities
- Maintain outdoor grounds and common areas, including weed whacking, leaf blowing, and litter removal.
- Clean gutters and perform routine light fixture upkeep.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the property and replace liners.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
- Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other restroom supplies.
- Identify and promptly report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the field supervisor.
- Accurately track and submit work hours using the company’s timekeeping system.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- A working cell phone and the ability to use a mobile timekeeping system to accurately record hours.
- Ability to perform physical custodial duties, including walking, standing, bending, and working outdoors.
- Ability to safely operate groundskeeping equipment and follow cleaning procedures.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently and follow supervisor instructions.
- Previous custodial or groundskeeping experience preferred.
