Night Custodian
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Night Custodian to join our facilities management team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and visitors during overnight hours. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of all areas, including hallways, restrooms, offices, and common spaces
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in accordance with safety and environmental standards
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required
- Assist with setting up or breaking down event spaces as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure a secure and efficient work environment
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
