LED Lighting company actively seeking a part-time Custodian who will be available to commit to thoroughly cleaning their office and office restrooms on a weekly basis. This role requires a commitment to excellence in cleaning and facilities upkeep, with the flexibility to work once a week. You will play a vital part in ensuring that our space remains tidy, organized, and well-maintained for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Schedule: Every Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of all designated areas, including floors, restrooms, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Maintain floor care by buffing and polishing surfaces to ensure a polished appearance
- Handle light maintenance tasks such as basic repairs or reporting larger issues to facilities management
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored for ongoing use
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services with an emphasis on commercial or industrial environments
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and basic repair skills
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that may involve bending, lifting, or standing for extended periods
Requirements:
- 1+ year(s) of previous custodian/housekeeper work experience for office or commercial buildings
- Able to speak and understand EnglishAuthorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a 7 year background check
