Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, personable, and results-driven Leasing Consultant to join our property management team. The Leasing Consultant will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for prospective and current residents while driving occupancy and achieving leasing goals.
The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys working with people, has strong sales and customer service skills, and takes pride in maintaining a professional and welcoming community.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and professionally assist prospective residents, current residents, and visitors.
- Respond promptly to leasing inquiries by phone, email, and in person.
- Conduct property tours and effectively showcase apartment homes, amenities, and community features.
- Follow up with prospective residents to convert leads into applications and signed leases.
- Explain rental rates, lease terms, community policies, application requirements, and move-in procedures.
- Process rental applications and assist with lease preparation and execution.
- Maintain accurate prospect and resident records in the property management system.
- Meet or exceed monthly leasing, occupancy, and sales goals.
- Maintain knowledge of available apartment homes, pricing, specials, and market conditions.
- Assist with resident move-ins, move-outs, renewals, and resident retention efforts.
- Build positive relationships with residents and provide exceptional customer service.
- Respond to resident questions and concerns and coordinate with the appropriate team members when necessary.
- Assist with maintaining the appearance and presentation of the leasing office, model units, and community.
- Participate in resident events, marketing activities, and other initiatives designed to increase traffic and retention.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
