CareCore at Heritage is looking for an experienced Maintenance Director to lead the maintenance operations of our skilled nursing facility. If you have healthcare maintenance experience, a strong understanding of life safety standards, and take pride in keeping a facility safe and operating at its best, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day maintenance operations for the facility

Ensure compliance with Life Safety Code, OSHA, CMS, and state regulations

Perform preventative maintenance and manage work order completion

Coordinate inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire safety, emergency power, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems

Prepare for and participate in state surveys and Life Safety inspections

Manage outside vendors and service contractors

Maintain maintenance records, logs, and regulatory documentation
-
Assist with budgeting, inventory, and purchasing of maintenance supplies

Respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed
Qualifications

Previous maintenance leadership experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting required

Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, healthcare regulations, and facility compliance

Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance
-
Ability to troubleshoot and prioritize maintenance needs in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
