Looking for an IT position where your work truly makes a difference? The East Bonner County Library District is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to help support and maintain the technology systems that keep our libraries connected, secure, and serving the public.

A Sample of What You Will Do (See the Job Description for the complete list of duties)
- Support and maintain district technology infrastructure including computers, servers, networking equipment, and related systems
- Administer Microsoft 365 including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange, and user accounts
- Support network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and cabling
- Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade technology equipment and systems
- Provide responsive support to staff and patrons
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, login, and network issues
- Support cybersecurity initiatives and security best practices
- Help manage UniFi networking and security systems
- Participate in security reviews and technology improvement efforts
- Create and maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Assist with staff training and technology onboarding
- Develop practical support resources and user guides
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts to users of varying technical skill levels
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft 365 administration experience
- Experience with networking, wireless systems, or cybersecurity tools
- Familiarity with UniFi networking products
- Experience supporting public-sector, educational, or nonprofit organizations
- Experience supporting Apple or Linux systems
